Biography

Caitlyn Hurt Clendenin joined Jenkins Dedmon Law Group in October of 2022. 


Caitlyn earned Juris Doctor from the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law in May of 2022. She served as an Assistant Note Editor of Volume 52 of the University of Memphis Law Review and was a Staff member of Volume 51 of the University of Memphis Law Review. She was the recipient of the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Legal Methods II.  Caitlyn also worked as a student attorney at the University of Memphis Elder Law Clinic.


Prior to law school, Caitlyn was a high school English teacher at Halls High School in Lauderdale County, Tennessee and at Lafayette County High School in Lafayette County, Mississippi. She earned her Master of Science degree in Education from the University of Tennessee and her Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of Mississippi.



Caitlyn is a native of Lauderdale County, Tennessee. She is the proud mother of one son. In her spare time, she loves to read as well as play guitar, tennis, or golf.  She is an active member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church.
